HARS Members regularly get asked for help, assistance and guidance on various radio or computer aspects of the hobby, whilst we do have a myriad of knowledge within the Club we sometimes hit a brick wall and simply can't answer the question.....that's life but we do know where we can find an answer.
We do have this page available for Club Members to reach out to the wider Amateur Radio Community. So if you have a question or would like some advise then email the Webmaster and provided it meets the 'esprit de corps' of the Club and hobby we can publishes it here for you.
Also as a Club we do like to have during the evenings some interesting, engaging, relevant and stimulating presentations to our Club Members who do like to get involved by asking questions or giving feedback which makes the evening meet enjoyable.
Over the years we have manage to achieve this; that said for the future we would like some additional and new ones on subjects like APRS how does it work and show up on a radio or PC, back into Packet Radio, your best practice for learning Morse Code (CW), basic bench test tools, best operating practices for a contest or competition, etc.
You know what your passion is in Amateur radio so why not come along and share some of your passion with us during the evening, you can go it alone or have a small team do break out groups, issue handout notes, etc.
If this is something you would like to have a go then here is your 'Personal Invitation' courtesy of our Club Chairman - John GØFIK.
So why not drop Terry MØOME an email noting the subject and how long you would want as it does not have to be a full evening slot. If you need any help compiling presentations, handouts or anything else just let him know at the same time.
