The Recording of GB3OV Misuse and Malicious Communication

The recording of GB3OV by the Huntingdonshire Amateur Radio Society is solely to determine if the repeater is being used inappropriately and outside the conditions of the Amateur Radio Licencing laid down by Ofcom.

All radio operators using GB3OV do so within the terms and conditions of their own Amateur Radio Licence.
The day-to-day recordings of GB3OV will be held for 24hrs except for perceived incidents of Misuse or Malicious communication reported to the Repeater Keeper or Repeater Engineer within this 24hr period.

These perceived infringements will then be stored on a removable USB device for further scrutiny by both the Repeater Keeper and Engineer as soon as practicable.

Any infringements noted when the audio file is scrutinised by both Repeater Keeper and Engineer will then stored pending any enquiry from Ofcom with regards to the infringement and subsequent investigation by them.

NO DAY TO DAY RECORDING OR AUDIO DATA FROM GB3OV WILL BE STORED ON ANY PERSONAL COMPUTER OR OTHER DEVICE AT ANYTIME OUTSIDE THE PROCESS AS DETAILED ABOVE. AT NO POINT WILL THESE RECORDINGS BE MADE PUBLIC OR AVAILABLE TO ANYONE OUTSIDE THE COMMITTEE AT ANY TIME.
