Club Nets

Nets

  • There is a Daily Net hosted by Chris, G4UXV on GB3OV at 10.00am (10.30am on Sunday (Net Control Alan M0FDA) to allow for local RSGB News broadcast at 10.00am). All are welcome to join in
  • There is a Daily Net on GB3OV at 14.30. Net Controller will vary each day (usual Net Controller Chris G4UXV). All are welcome to join in
  • Every Tuesday, Richard M0OFF hosts a net on 70.400 MHz (4 Mtr) at 20.00 (8pm) local for a 'general rag chew'. If you have a 4 Mtr rig you will be most welcome to join in
  • The HF Nets - Wednesday starts at 19.15 to 19.30 hours (local) on 3.752 MHz. Tuesday and Friday 19:30 (Local) on 3.662 MHz.  +/- QRM on SSB. Net controller is Dave M0DFW.

  • Military Net on GB3OV
    Next RV Wednesday TBA
    For those who are interested in Military/Blue Light Services/Green Radios &/or Military & Local History around the Area, there is an Ops Meeting on GB3OV
  • Starting time 19:30 hrs.

Morse/CW

To hear a variety of styles, speeds and interesting texts (including groups of 5 mixed characters), then please join the 2m morse practice group on 144.7625MHz
Every Monday at 7:30 pm local time. 


Our net begins in FM and each participant has the opportunity to send a passage of text of their choosing in CW, with readbacks and comments in FM.

If you are new to Morse we will slow down to a suitable speed so you can learn the characters. 

To fully participate you will need a 2m radio capable of both FM and CW.

MB7IAD Closed Down.


MB7IAD has now been closed down.
This is due the increase in my electric bill tariff. Also lack of users.
Lots of licensed listeners !
I have given it a fair go and run MB7IAD for a number of years.
Sorry it has come to this.

The Digital Voice NET new schedules on Mondays at 20:00hrs and will continue on a weekly basis.

The Frequency and details for the nets will be as follows:

First week of month is : DMR
Frequency: 438.600MHz DH:2 Simplex
Colour Code : 1
Talk Group: 9
Time Slot: 1

The Second week of month is : DSTAR
Frequency: 144.600MHz Simplex 
Mode: DV

The Third week of month is: C4FM (Fusion)
Frequency: 144.600Mhz Simplex 
Mode: DN

​SSB (USB) Nets to be held on the Fourth Monday of each month scheduled at 20:00hrs
