GB3OV is a 70cm Repeater serving the River Ouse Valley in the Counties of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
It is sited near to the village of Graveley, Cambridgeshire and approximately 40Mtrs Above Sea Level (ASL) which is high up for round here!
The Huntingdon Amateur Radio Society owns all of the Repeater equipment and pays for it's up keep.
It's intended area of coverage is Huntingdon, Godmanchester, St Ives, St Neots and the surrounding area.
The Repeater gives good coverage North along the A1 to Peterborough, South along the A1 to Sandy, East along the A14 to Cambridge and West along the A14 to Thrapston.
Our Repeater has been in service since 24 November 1985.
The antenna is a single Co-linear at the top of a 10 Metre mast.
Our Repeater Unit is an Icom IC-F6000 Unit with a Zetron 38 Repeater Panel.
