GB3OV is a 70cm Repeater serving the river Ouse valley in
the counties of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
It is sited close to the village of Graveley, approximately 40 meters
above sea level, (High up for round here !!).
The Huntingdon Amateur Radio Society
Owns and pays for the upkeep of GB3OV
It is intended area of coverage is Huntingdon , Godmanchester , St Ives, St Neots and surrounding area.
The Repeater gives good coverage North along the A1 to Peterborough.
South along the A1 to Sandy, East along the A14 to Cambridge and West along the A14 to Thrapston.
The Repeater has been in service since 24 November 1985.
Antenna is a single co-linear antenna at the top of a 10 meter mast.
Repeater unit
Is a Icom IC-F6000 Unit with a Zetron 38 Repeater Panel.
