GB3OV Repeater upgrade

During the Spring months of 2024 a Team of members headed by Richard MØOFF took on the role of upgrading the Repeater Site to encompass an new mast, 70cms antenna, Coax, Duplexer, back up power supply, new repeater equipment suite and 19" rack.
​The old repeater was decommissioned and the new refurbished GB3OV Repeater was commissioned on morning of Sunday 30 June 24. The upgrade encompassed a change in a wide split for the Tx and Rx frequencies and a swap over of Plus/Minus, the CTCSS remained the same at 94.8Hz.
